Presenting at ICA

As a recent graduate of Drexel University’s Department of Culture and Communication and the Ph.D. program in Communication, Culture, and Media, I study public engagement with media, public policy, and politics. I have authored two books including Media, Millennials, and Politics: The Coming of Age of the Next Political Generation and Network Neutrality and Digital Dialogic Communication: How Public, Private, and Governmental Forces Shape Policy. My edited volume exploring the intersections of age, gender, and race/ethnicity is available through IGI Global.

I am currently an Assistant Professor in Rowan University’s College of Communication & Creative Arts. I teach courses on public opinion, strategic communication, and research methods. I am the co-advisor of Rowan’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and a chair of the Affordability Task Force: Communication & Planning Subcommittee.

This site shares my work, and is updated frequently with new materials. Please contact me with ideas for future projects.

  1. Your book should be brought to the attention of Donna Brazile. You can find her. She is focused on millenials. Proud to read abut another Drexel alum. Best wishes, Mary

  2. I read you article in Drexel Alumni mag…Sent account to Donna Brazil, DNC, since she is so concerned at millennial involvement in the election. Hope your in touch w/ her. You’d have valuable contribution to make.
